You should ask this question while referring to what kind of camera you have. People will know how to help you better. BUT!
You first need to determine if your camera came with a cable to plug in from your camera to your computer. Did it come with a CD? That should tell you just how to do it, if it did. If not you may need to either go down to the store where you bought it and get one, or check online with your model number. It should pull up fast. Ebay, Kit camera... those kind of places. Then once you get it installed/connected even, click on your picture program ( photostudio, photoimpression or some other simple program) , and go to 'open' or 'import' more acurately if that is an option. You should see the camera there and be able to pull all the pictures you need from there.

If your camera has a removable media card and your computer either has a slot for that card or you have a matching card reader to plug into your usb ports it is much better to do it that way. You do not use your cameras batteries and if your batteries go died while transferring the pictures you risk losing them.

Use a USB cable to connect from your camera to yr PC USB port directly.
Try not to go thru a USB HUB that is connected to yr PC USB port as certain brands of digital camera does support such transfers

it depends if you have a digital or a 35mm camera. digital-pics are saved on card automatically you just remove the card and insert into a reader/ printer with reader, or a 11-1 card reader easily picked up at walmart. 35 mm you have to take to Walgreen's or wall mart anyone with a photo center and have them load onto disc for your computer. that's all
