"War is Hell". That is a very famous saying that was used throughout World War II and the Korean War. In those days before mass media could pick and choose who were the bad guys and who were not, it was understood that some hard choices had to be made concerning civilian life. Do not think for a second that woman and children were not killed during the low level bombings over Nazi Germany or Japan because they were. However, today because of those low level bombings we are not saying "Sig Hiel" in our Nazi uniforms. That being said, as a person who may never have to make those kind of choices you will never understand what those people have and are going through. War is something one must experience before any of us can judge. What would you think you would do if you did not know who to trust and you feared your life at every step?

Update to your last edit: No, I am sorry for coming across so strong but today's media bend has made me very sensitive to our guys and gals fighting that awful war. To be frank I fear that the medias influence effects pubic thinking but I am wrong as I read 99% of all responses right here on your thread who support our kids over there. Be damned with the media and God Bless all of you for your support. It has been an honor to serve this great country and its people.

I've just seen the newest report on this story on CNN. According to the latest, somehow, now he was disabled! How much longer will we allow the media to ma-line our troops? I for one am disgusted at the way the various newsgroups twist and bend "news" to fit their own political views.
Whether I believe they are innocent or guilty is not important.
Whether you believe they are innocent or guilty is not important.
What is important is that these brave men and women have made a conscious decision to serve our country in time of need.
they are HEROS! To tie their hands and make them second guess their tranning is paramount to a death sentence! In war, if you hesitate, you die. Plain and simple.
God bless our Troops. Each and every one of them.
God bless America. We damn sure need it!

Innocent.
A-shell casings in the video could not be matched up to M-16's. (Look like AK rounds.)
B-"Innocent" man that was shot was probably not as innocent as first thought. Extended family in jail for working for the terrorists.

We always take the moral high ground and live by the Geneva Conventions, yes war is hell, but at least we try to be civil about it while others blatantly disregard the conventions.

Trained killers, that's who I want beside me in battle. Besides, if you don't want to answer my questions and I believe you are harboring the enemy? You lose! His refusal to betray criminals took on the color of the enemy. If you needed a police action, send in the police not the Marines.
