Abraham Lincoln should have been the longest. I've been waiting for someone to "top" him but so far, no one has come close to his intergity and sincerity. He was a good man.

Probably Ronald Reagan.
A-One of the best communicators ever in office. He actually out performed one of the Kennedys during a televised debate in the 1960's. (Forcing one of the them to say that Reagan was to never be directly debated again.)
B-His values. You always knew where you stood with Reagan. (Even if you hated him.) Reagan stood by his values, even when it hurt him politically. He made campaign promises to reduce taxes and fight the commies, and he succeeded in doing both.
