im 13 and I am gonna either get a mac or a pc i havent decided yet and mostly like surfing the internet and checkin email or playin games and i probly wont download a lot of diffrent software.

I have had both mac and PC. I just bought a new PC and I have had my mac for 7 years and it still works great. I have gone through 3 PCs in that time. I would definitely go with a mac.

Most things in the IT world are considered IBM compatible. If you're looking for university with games, software, hardware, and other nicknacks that you'll use, I recommend getting a PC. With a PC, you can also upgrade with ease and technical support is more abundant should you ever have a problem with something.
