Math is an international language. It is valuable in all careers, and in everyday life. You need to have atleast a basic understanding of math, so that you can figure out that you have been paid properly for hours worked, that the deductions are correct on your check, and you need to be able to count your money to determine the cost of an item, and to be able to make sure you get the correct change when you pay for an item. So as you can see, you will use it everyday...

the most important thing is that every college needs a minimum math requirement, and to make careers u need to go to college. also math is widley used in feilds such as engineering, business, medical school, and economics.
