I know that it was cultivated in China 6,000 years ago, but is it legal there today?
Does anyone know where (other than the Netherlands) marijuana is legal today?

Our US constitution and Dec of Independ are written on hemp cloth, so our country used to cultivate it too. One President, think it was Jefferson, wanted to make it a law that every land owner grow some hemp. It would solve a lot of problems if it was legal and no you can't get high from it.

Not legal is canada. Canada has legal industrial Hemp, but is almost as strict about marijuana as the US.

Spain allow you to grow a limited number of plants for your own use. No selling.

I don't know about China; Jamaica's only place I know where it is legal.

I love this:

Depends on the use. I tried it for pain and it did no good at all. I just got stoned. My pain killers didn't work. The only thing that really helped was herbal remedies.
