what is a better laptop, a pc or a mac ibook

Get a PC. They are better than macs becuase there is a big choice of hardware to choose and its cheap. The pc is compatable with most software. Macs have expensive hardware that you can only replace from mac. The software isn't very compatable so you have to stick with software that you mostly have to pay for.

It depends on what you want to do with it. Mac has the best graphics in the industry. New papers, Graphic artist etc use mac. Now PC has come a long way in that category but PC is still the most supported by soft & hardware. PC also has the most easy cross over. English to spanish to Chinese to forign languange and support. My vote is PC.

Actually, the PC would be my choice, except now that Microsoft has decided to implement Windows Vista into their schedule, I'll buy a Mac next time. Discard any thoughts of buying a PC in the future if you are a Windows enthusiast. Vista doesn't curb to the People Friendly status that once was Windows. And if you hold stock in Microsoft, you might want to pull out soon...they'r on a downhill slope.

I would personally suggest a PC, as they are easier to fix and change settings. A mac is a very reliable computer and most definately better if you have ever had problems with viruses in the past since they almost never catch them. I know many people who have purchased Macs and been happy with them, but i have little hands on experience.

I personally have a PC but I think macs are better especially after my PC crashed and i had to replace the hard drive.

If your gaming or most anything the PC is better. As far as games go they come out months sooner and are cheaper on PC...... but Mac does have better commercials.

PC will save you tons of money and there is nothing you can do on Mac that you can't do on PC. There are more programs for PC. It is easier to master.

get a merw macbook pro they can run mac programs or pc programs.
there are also much fewer viruses for macs.
most of the other people who just say "pc" have probably never used a mac for an extended period of time

Probably a PC is the better choice because it is more compatiable with more software than the Mac. Plus, it's cheaper.

Depends on what you are going to do with it. Mac has always been superior if you are working with intense graphics and video. If you want the bigger selection of programs (including games) go with a pc.
