No, anything goes when you're pregnant and it looks like you're a bit dry and sensitive. It's just the way you are, that's all.

Hello Leslie,
Just how far along are you in your pregnancy? You may want to consult your doctor about the problem. It could be lack of moisture! The hormones in a pregnant woman's body change drastically during pregnancy and it may be you need a little help from some K-Y jelly. If its uncomfortable and pain full abstance may be your better bet. You can be satisfied without having full intercourse as I'm sure you know. Your safety and the baby's' is the most important at this time. Please be careful that life your carrying is a blessing.

I'm also 12 weeks 4 days I'm due December 30Th. I have been having that burning feeling after sex to. My OB said it's the skin getting irritate due to increased blood flow. Sex feels better now it just hurts after. GOOD LUCK..also lube is usually not the problem in pregnancy as the pregnant body has more discharge then normal. If it hurts going IN that is totally common and just due to everything being more sensitive. I HURT AFTER sex. ALWAYS ASK your OB.

How far along are you? If it is later in your pregnancy that is normal. If it is early you may have some type of infection and need to go see your doctor. You probably should see your doctor anyway.

I don't know what to say about that but I think you should talk to your doctor. I wouldn't say anything is wrong with you though. Is burning externally or internally? If it's externally try some lubrication.

The purpose of having sex, while pregnant anyways is for pleasure. If you arn't getting pleasure from it, then you need to reevaluate your positioning and rythm. If anything, refrain from sex if it hurts untill 6 weeks postpartum.

I get the same problem too. I don't think its anything to worry about. Its just our bloody hormones going stupid on us and trying to make life hell. Try using a bit of lube or something, and if you're still worried, talk to your doctor.

How far are you? Your not supposed to have sex if you are in your third trimester. But if not it might just be the position. Change the position. If that doesn't work you might want to ask your doctor.
