Yes. Vince McMan (spelling?) bought it and wcw a few years ago, so WWF became WWE and WWE can now use the nameECW. that is also why you will see a wrestler on monday night raw, then again on tuesday night ecw. How about Kelly? Oh yeah.

yes, ecw video library was bought by wwe in 2001, and now wwe has relauched ecw again on scifi channel. many think it will not be the same ecw but i think they can really give a fresh and differenct version of prowresling on tuesday nights

okay here is how the whole storyline went down. steph. vinces daughter "bought" ECW when they went belly up but actually it was vince. so yes ECW is part of the WWE altough they use different rules. they are all in contract with vince.
