i am goth but i have not told my friends. should i tell them, im not sure if they would treat me the same if the knew.

if you were really "goth" you wouldnt give what your friends say. your friends would know anyway because of how you dress and act and the music you listen to. chances are youre either in jr high or high school and a freaking poser. but dont worry next year youll be preppy, or indie, or emo and maybe your friends will like those trends better.

Real Goth people don't give a fukc what their friends think. I think goth is about being comfortable with dark, disturbing things (or just plain wearing dark, tattered clothes). Whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote....it's all good. If your current friends give you the cold shoulder, it's ok, you'll probably make more goth friends anyway. Just remember to do your best in school so your parent don't give you any crap when they see you wearing "goth" outfits. Best of Luck!

define goth, and whats ur age. goth is for the most part a passing phase and if ur friends liked u today they wont suddenly not like u tomorrow cus u put a label on urself. have fun just dont get hurt.. there is nothing wrong with self expression as long as it doesnt make u hurt urself or someone else.

I'm goth and I wear black eyeshadow and dog collars. It's pretty easy to tell. But if their your friends, they'll accept you. If not, **** 'em. Make some goth friends, you'll probably have more in common.
P.S. Every single one of my friends are preppy, and they're cool with what I wear and the music I listen to. They're even cool with my dark thoughts and morbid sense of humor. Just fess up.

Being goth isn't bad...unless your the kind that listen to screamo, are atheist etc. But if you are goth how do your friends not already know?

wait...how can you be goth whithout your friends knowing......?? anyways no matter how different you are or how different you want to be, your real friends wont care as long as you keep your personality the same then it should not matter to your friends if you have decided to be gothic. now if your friends think that you are crazy and pester you every day, then dump your friends. if they cant respect you and love you for who you are then they are horrible friends and you better find new people to hang out wiht if that accually happens to you! just say it strait to your friends and if they dont like it then thats just their problem now isnt it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
