i am goth but i have not told my friends. should i tell them, im not sure if they would treat me the same if the knew.

Perhaps I'm thinking wrong, but I'm pretty sure that if you're goth, friends will notice. Even if you don't subscribe to the clothing tendencies, I would still think that goth thinking would influence the way you act toward others. If you could elaborate as to exactly what you follow in it, I might be of more help. If it doesn't change a whole lot in how you do things and spend time with them, then they may not even care. In general, however, if they're true friends, then they will put up with whatever flaws, quirks, or, in this case, social tendencies you may have.

you should tell them, this is the test of friendship, if they walk away they are not your true friends, if they stay they are true friends. one who accepts who you truly are, are the people who you can trust the most. You can even change from goth to normal they will still be your friend. don't worry.

if ur friends are true friends they should treat them the same but if they arent the greatest friends then tell them anywayss and make new friends who can accept u the way you are.
