It depends on the way that you think. A pessimist will say that a glass is half empty. An optimist will say that a glass is half full. But a realist will always say,"Who's going to wash the glass?" Hope this doesn't confuse you more.

When people speak about half empty and half full they would usually think of a glass of something, the glass I guess representing their life. People would think of it being half full as being optimistic and half empty means your pessimistic, but I dont think it depends on if its half full or half empty. I think it depends on if you are going to add to the glass, or take more away.

It depends. If you're drinking a beer and it's half gone, then it's half empty and you want a full bottle. If you're saving spare change in a jar, and it's at the halfway point, then it's half full to buying something cool. :)

They're just in the same container. Imagine a CONTAINER, say a BOTTLE ONE (1) LITER in size, HALF-FULL with WATER. The OTHER UPPER PART of this container is HALF-EMPTY.

the container is actually all full. It is half full with water..that is understood, and the other half is full of air particles...so you got a full class of something my friend
