Standard form for a slope intercept equation is:
y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. So, transforming:
7x + 4y = 20
4y = 20 - 7x
y = (20 - 7x) / 4
y = 5 - 7/4 x
y = -7/4 x + 5
And
5x + 6y = 19
6y = 19 - 5x
y = (19-5x) / 6
y = 19/6 - 5/6 x
y = -5/6 x + 19/6

"7x+4y=20" is the standard form.
For slope intercept form:
7x+4y=20
4y=20-7x
y=5-(7/5)x
y=(-7/5)x+5
Slope: -7/5
Y-Intercept: 5 (0, 5)
5x+6y=19 is already in standard form.
Slope intercept form:
5x+6y=19
6y=19-5x
y=(19/6)-(5/6)x
y=(-5/6)x-19/6

well the slope intercept form is y=mx+b
so you have 7x+4y=20 you need to get seven on the other side of the equation
7x-7x+4y=20-7x
so now you have 4y=-7x+20
now you have to get "y" by itself so divide both sides by 4
4y/4=-7x/4+20/4
so you have
y=7x/4+5
2.) 5x+6y=19 same steps..
5x-5x+6y=19-5x
6y=-5x+19
6y/6=-5x/6+19/6
y=-5x/6+19/6 or 3 1/6

7x=20-4y and 6y=19-5x
x=(20-4y)/7 and y=(19-5x)/6
y=(19-5*(20-4y)/7)/6
y=(19-(100-20y)/7)/6
y=((133-(100-20y))/7)/6
y=(((33+20y))/7)/6
y=((33+20y))42
42y=33+20y
22y=33
y=33/22....
