I doubt that you are from this country. And I did not know that American children are lethargic. Mine aren't and they are 100% USA born and bred, and I am proud of it......They are also gifted and both make the A honor roll. Eat that you foreign pi*

Not all, but most.
American is hard to define, in my opinion. I mean I consider myself to be American, but my parents were not born here. One is from Hungary and the other is from Nicaragua. I can definitely say, without a doubt, that my parents are stricter than most and are also very traditional. I wasn't allowed to date until I got a Bachelor's Degree nor was I allowed to live on campus. Wasn't allowed to have a TV or a phone in my room and I spent most of my childhood outdoors. Most of the time I came home bleeding because I was always doing something crazy like roller skating down steep hills that had rocks conveniently layered on top, flipping off my 10-speed, speeding down the "big" neighborhood hill in my wagon and getting thrown onto the sidewalk, etc and I have all my little scars as a reminder.
I almost hate to say this, but when I have kids, they'll be raised similarly to the way my parents raised us. I hate saying they're right...

Not all of them are. Here we go again with the stereotyping. And yet another foreigner who thinks they know American culture and whom has probably never even been to American nor met an American.

Tell you what - let's ALL go outside and run around the neighborhood!!! I take my dog for his walk everynite and I am always surprised how few people, if anyone at all, are outside at the park. Yet, here I am on-line..........that's it - I am going for a walk! Later!
