The felony might not hurt you depending on the exact charge, but the DWI makes you a high risk for the company insurance policy. I don't know how long those remain on your driving record, but maybe you should wait until it's off or at least 5 years old. For certainty on the matter, go ahead and seek employment as a trucker and see what happens. Whatever feedback you get from the company will tell you where you stand.

Good Luck !! You prob ally aren't going to get a job doing trucking for sometime to come,if ever.My step dad is a trucker and you pretty much have to have a clean record. Also, my husband tried to get a job doing it and his felony was also 8 yrs prior. They don't seem to be very forgiving in those categories, and with the DWI that doesn't help matters at all. But, hey I wish you the best of luck anyway just 1 persons opinion.

DWI's are usually forgiven after 7 years, and felonys are usually forgivin after 3 years. It also depends on the company you work for. Chances are, wait another 4 years.

Try "rock-haulin" ie. moving rocks, sand, gravel, ect Just local haulin. You wont get on with a good company because of the felony, But 3 DWI`s are REEALY going to hurt your chances. In these times "Truck Safety" (ie. drivers) is the #1 hot button topic I here about.

Don't think you will be able to find a trucking job. They check records pretty closely and the DWI will be a stickler.

If there is a company called "Senn" near you, try them. My son has a felony and got a job with them. I know they have a terminal in NC - newberry.
