Why doesn't US or EU or World help Sri Lanka to get rid of terrorist(tigers)?

are they afraid of tigers????
or is it because Sinhales are differnt nationality ?
or because Sri Lanka have Differnt Religion ?
or because it provide oppertunity to sell wepons and gain profits?
or Why?

Plainly because the waters are muddied!

And also mainly because no country/int'l organization has a de facto right to intervene in some other countries internal affairs, unless it is detrimental to the stability of the well being of the region/world as a whole or there is a gross negligence of international rules/treaties and conventions that the said country is party to.

Since none of above is clearly happening in Sri Lanka there is very little room for intervention.

But the most practical issue here is that Tamil lobbyists prevailant in EU countries and US hv used Tamil propaganda to a maximum thus making the issue for intervention a moot one or at least a vague one.

Unfortunately the "big player" in the region is India. India does not welcome outside influence in what they consider a "regional" problem. In addition, too many expatriot Tamils support the tactics of the Tigers with money. If the Sinhalese, Tamil, Muslim, Burgher and Malay people of Sri Lanka could join together and disavow the tactics of the Tigers and support a unity government this could well assist in lessening the Tigers' grip on the north and east of the country. I do hope that the country does not return to full-scale war; it is a paradise and well deserves peace. Buddha saranaye and may the Triple Gem Bless the island.
