The only lyric that I remember is "oi la lay la baby"... i'm going nuts trying to remember who they were.

This one has been bugging me for a long time too. It was French and I believe the singer was Geordie or Jordie or something like that. I also recall that the title meant "It's Tough To Be a Baby". Unfortunately, I've tried Google, Amazon, All Music Guide... all to no avail. Perhaps a DJ out there would know??? It was a short-lived hit during June in the early '90s.

Okay, after posting this I checked Google again and found a link to a French web site. It looks like I was very close. The title of the song is correct but the spelling of the artist was wrong. It's "Jordy" from 1992.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was a french song. don't know the name but I remember listening to it in class. totally creepy

It was an acutally baby. I remember that song and its CREEPY as hell. I don't know the name, though. Sorry.
