The climate will probably be hotter overall

There will definitely be a population problem

We'll own robots, like in that Robin Williams movie

Computers...I can't imagine what they'll be like!

There might be astronauts living on Mars.

We'll all be using a new energy source for transportation, because the oil will run out / be too expensive.

People 100 years from now will think that the movies and music of our time was very prudish.

Possibly cures for currently incurable diseases by then.

A billion more fad diets will have come and gone in the next 100 years.

There is no way to accurately predict the future.Styles, politics, wars, famine, natural disasters all affect changes.
The technology will probably be far more advanced then we expect in some areas, less in others.
They'll look back on us and laugh at how little we knew.
And none of us will be there to know the difference.

I would like to think all of these wonderful things, but I think that it is going to be so unlike anything we can imagine. I watch movies from 50+ years ago and see how they thought it would be like in this century, and most of it is soooo way off base. I guess we never know where we are going to go. I think we think we are more futuristic than we really are. Sorry Mars.

Strange to see. Probably unrecognizable. Just think of what a person who lived one hundred years ago would think of our time.
