I have water leaking onto the floor - is it just that my washer needs maintenance or can this happen if its overloaded?? I have a load in there now....

Well, what you should have done is split the load into two. I hope you dont break your machine!

However, I've never experienced a leak from overloading the machine. Make sure the pipe is not clogged with lint balls. Or make sure the pipe is still connected to where ever it is supposed to go into....

Overloading your washing machine can cause problems with your machine. It's best to wash smaller loads. Smaller loads of clothes come alot cleaner than if you try washing alot at once.May be your machine wont work if u load it too much.

too much load force the water out and check by doing a small load , ....if it leak it might be the water pump.

u shud never overload or underload a washing machine it isnt gud fr the drum.

yes make sure that a lot of close aren't just oon one side.
