You would probably have to purchase it under a foreign corporations name. To purchase it personaly you will need a ss number and have a leagal citizionship of some type. Paying cash can be a real pain, you may have to verify the income/cash somehow, ie The governments concerns of drug dealers and terroists. Best Luck!!!

Yes you can buy property in the US and if you pay cash, they'll love you even more. It would be a problem if you needed a loan, but even that can be managed.
Keep in mind that if you own property, you have to pay property tax !
