What kind of tub is it? If it's a free standing washtub, I'd just tip it over. If it's a bathtub, I'd pull the plug and play "Bang on the Drum All Day" with the spoon on the bucket as the water drained.

probably open the drain. otherwise scoop water out with the bucket until it was so shallow the spoon was necessary. why do you ask?
