It's summertime! you should have tons of things to do to keep your mind off of fatty food. Especially exercising which will actually help you LOOSE weight or maintain it. While it's so beautiful out you might as well take up the opportunity to go running out, rollerblade, swim, play tennis, even toss around a frisbee with some friends. There's plenty you can do..just watch out for the times you get bored and feel like eating, or the times you think it's hot enough out to go for some ice cream. Those are the times when you gotta think to yourself "now that i have this extra time to myself.. why don't I do something about it" use your summertime to your benifit and work out.

Eat 5 small meals a day:

1.) A non-greasy breakfast.
Example: a bowl of cereal
2.) A light lunch
Example: yogurt and fruit
3.)A mid-afternoon snack
Example: slice of toast with peanut butter
4.)A healthy dinner
Example: enriched pasta with vegetables
5.) A bedtime snack
Example: apples and raisins

In addition to healthy eating, make a point of getting out for at least an hour a day for fresh air, exercise, and sunshine. Good luck!

I recommend exercise. Walking during the summer is great for your health. The best time is just before you shower, that way you don't get all stinky before seeing friends.

walking is great exercise and fun! i find time for a 45 minute walk every other day. it is fun to just watch people in their yards, driving by etc while you are walking. the time goes by fast too. find yourself an inexpensive pedometer ... it is fun to see how far you have walked in an afternoon or early evening. PS - Target has them dirt cheap.
