i want to know before i purchase the only transmission available and if it doesnt work, i will be out $200.

call honda dealer parts dept they will have the answer also a junk yard will be able to tell you the answer

From I've seen the 1990 & 1992 honda accords have similar if not exact parts, body type. I am 90% sure that it will work if we are talking about the same engine size
Ask a local mechanic to take a more indepth look at it.

It looks like the H4A transmission is found in both.

1990–1997 H4A — 4-speed (aka A6VA/AOYA/APX4/APXA/BOYA/MP1A/MP1B/MPJA/MPOA/MPWA/MPXA/PX4B)

do no longer initiate screwing around at the same time with your 18 year old transmission. purely proceed to force it such as you have been or you will smash it. it particularly isn't any spring chicken and that the ninety two accord tranny is fragile first of all.

If the motors are the same,i dont see a problem.but if they are different then they may not bolt up to the bell housing.

if both cars have the same engine it will surely work
