I own three but rarely use them and if I do its to establish and improve my credit. I use my ATM/debit card as a credit card for larger purchases. Your personal credit is used for insurance rates, jobs as well as many other purposes. :)

Owning a credit card is actually very important.
It establishes your credit history which gives you the ability to get better rates on loans, the ability for higher loans and many other things.
Also it does organize your spending into one area. As long as you pay the entire bill by the prescribed month you don't have to pay anything extra.
If I were you, I'd try it out. See if you can handle the "no limits". Start with a credit that has a limit of 100 to 200 dollars and then work your way up.
Good luck!

No, but credit cards might be a better way to handle all your money, and keep it together, but you probably don't need one, if you've been doing fine without it.

Me either! But, even if I make money I would never be able to use it because I don't wanna let my work be at waste on some shoes or purse, etc.

credit cards are good things..as long as you can control it. Sometimes, you can make reward check/cash from it.
cash is good only if you can't control yourself with credit card!
