The best way I discovered is to clean it up with soap right after it's been put on. After you rub the soap in (any kind of soap,) very hard, you need to wash it off with water and let it dry. And wala!@!

My In-laws own a restaurant and I was forever cleaning oil stains from my husbands t-shirts and pants. It works great for food oils and easy stains - (sometimes it depends on how quickly you catch the stain) (we now send out the shirts - but I still use the same method on the kids)
lie the tee (or other item flat) lightly coat the area with spray and wash (shout could be substituted-but spray & Wash is best) then cover the wetted area (only) evenly with tide powder. Leave this to sit for at least 1/2 hour to hour or longer if an BIG stain (don't use tide with bleach) *it is ok if you forget about the item and go back to it hours later- I have gone back the next morning and it still worked. then toss in machine and wash as usual. This even worked when my youngest son sat on a pizza slice wearing his new Brasil jersey! good luck.

Spray with Simple Green you can buy it almost anywhere. Or use dawn dish soap and an old brush to brush it into the stain.

Amway's pre-wash spray works wonders...also you can treat it with Dawn dish soap or Tide with bleach alternative let it sit over night and wash your clothes with the Tide with bleach alternative (on Hot setting) it works better than any detergeant I have tried.
