I can't stand her.

I have no idea! The show will not survive without Meredith anyway...Star thinks she's a diva now, Joy thinks it's called the Joy Behar Comedy Hour, Elizabeth is good, but doesn't have that "it" factor to hold our attention, and Barbara is seldom there anyway...when she is, all the ladies talk over one another! As far as Rosie goes, can you imagine how loud and intolerable it is going to be with her trying to out talk the others with that annoying voice of hers.....ughhh!

Because Meredith is leaving to become a host of the "Today" show, a much better gig than "The View." Rosie is controversial and will generate a buzz. People will watch and "The View" will sell more/get more money for their commercial time.

I'm sorry I can't answer this one. But I can give you good reasons why she shouldn't:
1. She has very little news reporting experience.
2. They already have a joker on the show, Joy.
3. What can she tell me about a family. I mean a husband and a wife and kids.
4. She will pester me about her being a married lesbian.
