Cardinals. An offense like that can only be denied for so long. And our pitching is MUCH better overall this year, which is what we needed.
Plus, they've proven they can win consistantly--even with FOUR frontrunners (Pujols included) currently on the temporary DL.

They did just lose a couple games pretty badly. But we all have our bad days, right? I'm waiting for our starting pitching to be healthy again, and then we'll see what happens. ;) White Sox just beat about HALF of the St. Louis Cardinals team, if ya know what I mean...

White Sox will repeat, with a powerful lineup and the best pitching staff in the majors. And they've just smacked the living piss out of the Cardinals the past two days, demolishing their pitching (I'm sure Jason Marquis' ERA appreciated LaRussa leaving him in to give up 13 runs tonight). Too bad Cardinal fans think they only beat half of their team; bring the other half and Chicago smacks the crap out of them as well (even your vaunted Mr. Poo Holes).
No way the Red Sux or the Yankees or anyone else competes with the Good Guys in Black.

I think it will come down to an all New York, World Series, this year. The Yankees will emerge victorious over the Mets.

As much as I can't stand them, it will be the New York Mets.. They are the most balanced of all.. That's "Pitching & Hitting" I just hope that it's not my Boston Red Sox that they will play in the series....Hopefully, it will be Yankees vs Mets... That way I will root against both of them..............Next year Red Sox vs Marlins

The Red Sox have good pitching, good defense, good hitting and a good minor league system in case they need to call someone up or trade for a player. if wakefield can keep pitching well, and clement stays healthy, they have a very good shot.

white sox, they did it last year, and the team basically hasnt changed this year, which helps them be stronger, cuz theyre all used to eachother and work well together, so, technically, its like last year, but better.
