OK here is what it is. I am 31 i still smoke, but trying to cut back, the buzz, what you call sick feeling, is why most people start n the first place... bet you gt that raw feeling in your throat too eh?

The feeling you are getting is common whenyou try to smoke when you are 16 ( started at 15) so it feels lke your completely drunk, until a few minutes later when you are done. I rememberthe buzz.

To save you the THOUSANDS of dollas i have spent, i would say try not to smoke for moneys sake.

Smoking cigs is not different than drugs, you get a good buzz, and it affects all aspects of you physically, best thing don't smoke before bed.

If you keep smokng the buzz will go away, just lke your money will if you keep doing it. After spending money on cigs for 15 years let me tell you, I WISH I HAD THE CASH.

But if you insist on smoking, sit down while smoking, and relax. Also, do not smoke before bed, if you are going to smoke do it 15 minutes before bed, that way you can clear out, and be OK.

Been there Dude, laying down and your feel asif you want to Hurl in a bucket. You are expeiencing everything natual about starting to smoke.

hope this helps.

So why are you doing it?

Your body is telling you something. LISTEN to it. Smoking is such a HUGH mistake. Don't get started. Do you know people who smoke try SOOO hard to quit. It is a drug MORE addictive than cocaine. That's right. It is legal. That is the only difference.

Don't smoke. It's NOT cool. It has been banned everywhere and it is so uncool. Ok, yeah, the young people THINK it's cool, but I went to D.C. for a week of training. They have banned smokers to standing out by the garage with the bums in order to smoke. THAT should be a deterrant.

It can be really embarrassing when you are trying to move up and the bosses see you sucking on a cig out with the bums.

Please, get the point. Like I told my kids, you're young bodies are strong and do not crave alcohol, tobacco or drugs. KEEP it that way. It doesn't make you COOL. It makes you ADDICTED !!!! An addict, incapable of doing without it. Pathetic.

Sixteen is really early to start smoking. But the dizzyness is all caused by the effects that inhaleing a forign chemical into your body. This happens the very begining of smoking. After a couple months your body gets use to the smoke. Then after a year of smoking continually you get mucus in your throught, kinda like a clumpy cough. Enter smoking at your own risk, it's not healthy. Thats what your body is trying to tell you. But what am I to say, even though I know all the health risks, bad breath, and yellow teeth I still smoke. Just make shure its a decision that you want to live with for the rest of your life.

You don't have a tolerence for nicotine yet wich is a good thing . I started smoking at 15 and I am now 26 and I am currently on day 3 and 1/2 trying to quit. Don't be stupid stop now while you can. It isn't as easy to quit as you might think. If you don't stop now you will regret it later in life. Trust me. ask anyone else that smokes that is at least over the age of 21

The "problem" is that your body is reacting to the carbon monoxide and nicotine in the cigarette and you haven't yet built up a tolerance to it. It's the same way with people when they start to use heroin only milder.

At first a person throws up when they inject themselves with heroin but after they get addicted they get sick if they don't have it. With cigarettes, which are habit forming and don't follow the classic pattern of an addictive substance, people feel like you feel when they first start to smoke and then if they try to quit they get edgy and irritable.

Now's the time to listen to your body and stop before it really becomes a habit that you only wish you could break.

Um, because you're literally putting poison in your body. Your body is evolved to respond to poison by vomiting, because usually you're poisoned from ingesting something bad. So its reacting to this inhaled poison by becoming nauseous.

I know you won't listen to this, being 16 and all, but I'm going to say it anyway. Don't start smoking. Because here's the thing, sooner or later you're going to have to quit, because you won't be able to do anything anymore like play sports or dance or have sex with any degree of energy. And when you quit smoking you become the most boring person in the world, because you have to quit drinking and you can't go to bars and stuff because people are smoking and you'll have to have one after you get a few drinks in. I'm on my 6th week of the patch and it sucks. I mean it suuuuuuuuuuucks. I feel pissed off all the time, I'm eating too much. I can't concentrate or remember things. I'm dumb. I'm dumb now without cigarettes. If I could go back and not smoke I'd do it in a heartbeat. I really honestly and truly beg you, quit now before you get addicted. If you quit now you'll be able to drink and go to bars without wanting one.

You really should quit smoking , your body is telling that this sucks and I hate it. I wished I had listened to my body. I did that and started at the young age of 10. so here I am at 32, feeling like crap and so addicted to those damn things. 22 yrs compared to 4 weeks is a huge difference. Please quit for the sake of not feeling like I do at 32. I can not run or even walk up a hill with feeling like I am going into cardiac arrest. OMG it sucks. 4 weeks shouldn't be too difficult to stop the nasty habit. and you want to have money. smoking makes you broke also. I don't really care for 10pts, If get you to stop smoking it is worth more than 10pts. Good luck to you.

I'll get a bit dizzy if I take deep drags off my cigarette or smoke it too fast. Sometimes I enjoy the sensation of being dizzy and you can feel the nicotine rushing through your body.

It is your body trying to tell you that you are inhaling toxins. Smoke also cuts down on oxygen to the body's cells and brain, possibly inducing nausea.

The problem is that you seem to want to find a way to continue a habit that everyone and everything, including your own body, says is harmful. Listen, and consider ceasing the habit. Just think of the money you will be saving.

Perhaps your body is trying to tell you something! Maybe that you are injesting poison (TOBACCO). DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smoking is no longer "cool" like it once was considered in the 50s, 60s, the distant past. It is very uncool and is a health danger. Since you are dating age consider this. A lot of girls won't go out with or kiss guys who smoke. A lot of guys won't go out with or kiss girls who smoke.
