I don't usually eat hot dogs, but I've got to admit there's just something really yummy about getting a polish hot dog from one of those street vendors or at the ball park.
Preferred toppings? Brown deli mustard, ketchup, chopped onions, pickle relish, chili, hot sauce & cheese!

What do I put on my hot dogs when I'm not worrying about cholesterol and such? MMMMMM. Well, you can start with mustard on both sides, and then a thin layer of cheese, grated or sliced makes no difference because it'll melt either way. And then a VERY HEALTHY amount of chili generously spiced with jalalpeno peppers and onions. And if I've forgotten anything . . . oh, sometimes I'll soak it with Tobasco Sauce, but then that changes the other parts of the recipe . . .but, again, if I've forgotten anything it's because I'm drooling so bad that I've got to quit this answer stuff and go get something to eat. God, that's good eatin'!!!! God Bless you for the memories.

As someone who was born just south of Chicago, I do the typical Chicago style hot dog. No ketchup! Mustard, onions, relish, a cucumber spear, and celery salt on a poppy seed bun.

Ketchup, sometimes mustard if I'm feeling wreckless! Actually, no one else at my house likes mustard so no one gets it out. But if it's out, I'll put it on.

Depends on how i'm feeling cause i sometimes like ketchup and sometimes mustard. But i usually have mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, saurkraut (however you spell it), and other stuff, Well yeah

I hate mustard...on a hot dog and it MUST be Nathan's or I won't eat it, I like ketchup....saeurkraut most definitely and on occasion chili or cheese.

Oh man sometimes I just eat them with mustard but, I love having a good chili dog with cheese on top of the chili that is great stuff!
