If the font is too big everywhere:
Go to an empty space on the Desktop and do a right click.
In the menu that appears go into properties
Click the settings tab
On the left side of the window should be a slide bar. As you move that bar to the right, and the numbers get bigger, the size of the font on the screen will get smaller.
If the font is only too big in Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer
Click on the View menu
Select Text Size
Reset it to a smaller size (medium is the normal size)

well, perhaps you can try changing the resolution of the screen and also do the necessary changes to the font by goig for alternative in fonts. you can also use other program like microsoft word to do your typing. the fonts size can be well-controlled using it. if still does not work , i also not too sure then.
