They get a lot of free clothing because the companies or designers want their stuff advertised and what is better advertisement than a celebrity. Of course there are some things that they do have to pay for them selves though.

All celebrities get free clothing, this is were most companies use this as tax write offs and free endorsements. How ever it also depends on how famous you are; for instance people like Oprah and Meryl Streep is given much more from designers than people like Dakota Fanning, this is because she is still considered new to the screen.

Depends on the designer and the celebrity. Like for instance Louis Viton gave Jessica Simpson free purses just for being an awesome person.

some fashion designers send them their clothes so celebrities can advertise for them. for example, if i see beyonce wearing the same outfit i saw in the store, I'm gonna want to buy it. some companies also hold swag meets where celebrities can just come and get name brand clothes and accessories for free. it kinda stinks because their the exact people that don't need it but, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

yes... they get free outfits... when the designers n ppl give them the free clothes n they wear them on the red carpet.. the designers are making a profit because they know that when fans and other people see them in their clothing.. the little teenagers and people who look up to these celebs will go out and by them... so they use the celebs for advertising basically..

I know some celebrities talk their way into tryin to get free outfits cause they are being jus cheap. But other celebrities might just buy them cause they might jus like to shop and be expensive.

Designers give them clothes for free because it's free advertisement for the designer when the celebrity wears it.

Sometimes they do. Sometimes they just get to wear the outfit to the event for publicity and have to give it back. But at film festivals and stuff like they they get tons of free clothes. Unfair.

well sometimes designers will pay people to wear their clothes to a big event and show it off! or sometimes its a gift from the designer and sometimes the celebrities do pay most of the time the pay

Usually, a designer (or just about any product manufacturer) will give their product to the celebrity for the publicity. That's why on the red carpet, they always ask "who are you wearing"?
