Fuel Tank may have rust and could clog up fuel filter. Tires and brakes. change the oil and lube the chassis. You may find some suspension stuff starting to work its way loose after a few mile due to drying out of the rubber components.
Good luck Have fun!

It sounds like the car has not been used very much so it should be pretty good. Maybe it might pay to have it tuned up and the fluids changed and make sure the hoses aren't dried out. But that's really nothing too major.

One thing I will suggest though is make sure the 18,000 miles is the actual mileage and not that the odometer has turned over when it reached 100,000. But if the 18,000 is the actual mileage, I would say the car will probably last you quite a long time as long as the body doesn't rust.

TEN year old garage kept car with 18,000 (what year is it)
First of all I recommend you check the trunk, make sure this is not an old made men club's car with a little present back there.

DO NOT TAKE IT FOR A TEST DRIVE.
Seriously, for being a ten year old garage kept car before you do any road test, CHANGE THE OIL or have the seller change the oil before you do any road test. OIL loses its vescosity after a period.
Check for wiring, all fluids.

Take it to a mechanic before you buy it and have them check it out.
If the seller is not willing to let you do this, don't buy it
