america has proven over and over that if you make a great movie they will make it a box office success and you don't need sex or violence. You need to hit that fine line between sophisticated enough for adults and yet appealing to kids. If i were going to make a movie i would make it about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and i could build a whole love story into the subplot while also concentrating on the devastation caused to the city. That way you show suffering on a broad scale and on a personal scale and the triumph of love over tragedy of human spirit over natural disaster. I even have a title song for it. It from the 70's by a much overlooked band called Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods and the song is called The House On Telegraph Hill. I'd call the movie that too. That song is about the San Francisco earthquake and would make a perfect movie tie-in.

Cartoons!!!!!!!!!!!!
then, Tragedies (maybe with political background, or natural disasters.) anything to cause public sympathy. For example: there was a release of song that Sharon Stone financed just a month ago with many stars in it:'"Come together now" which is dedicated to Katrina huricane. On 2001- All stars Tribute- dedicated to Sept,11 events.

Kids movies are really booming today-especially animation. I'd like to make a big-budget, all-star casted CGI family film.
