This isn't a democrat bash, just based on an NPR interview I heard today on each of their perspectives on the war in Iraq/bringing our troopd home.

I think we should ban from this election anyone who has ever run for the presidency before and anyone who is related to anyone who has either been president or run for president. That will leave the field clear for someone new and different.

Great, you're a Republican b/c I am too!!! I think Hillary Clinton would be the scariest candidate for 2006 just because when we have all these things in the world going on, all the attention would be placed on the first female president in America and I think that makes the wrong impression. People would be focusing on her more than the war and world issues. I also believe she would try and carry out a feminist agenda not to be racist or anything, but she would be the first woman president and you can tell she wants some power and some major changes to be made. At this day and age, I do not think it to be wise to elect the first woman president. Though it would be a nice change, we have all this stuff already going on in the world and Hillary's a democrat; I'd rather the first woman president be a Republican who doesn't want to let the terrorists win the war and wouldn't let another terrorist attack happen.

Democrat, as a party, doesn't particularly like losers, so I think the chances of Kerry getting another nomination will be small, as for Hillary, she is simply too polarizing, a lot of people are still remembering the debacle in mid 90s, she may be well liked inside the Democratic party, but sane people wont vote for her nomination if there are so many ardent anti-Hillary people out there.

That's like asking, would you rather die from a meteor hitting you, or drown in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Neither are preferable. Both would suck.

It might come down to making a decision based upon the "spouse factor". Who would you rather see as first lady: Bill Clinton or Theresa Heinz Kerry? Slick Willie's sociopathic behavior might be more amusing in a Jerry Springer sort of way.

Clinton is scary to me and I am a Democrat. I just can't respect her after the errors they made while Bill Clitnon was in office. And no just for the record I'm not talking about the all important affair. I think it would be a great moment for our country if we coudl just get over the Lewinsky scandal already.

I think that both of them will be bad for the country. Im only 14 and I no that our country will go down hill if Hilliary Clinton or John Kerry get into office.

Kerry. I researched his voting record & the man misses soo many votes that, he may as well not even be a Senator. He missed over 80% of the Senate's votes in 2003 ALONE.
I honestly think that Hillary would do a good job, i trust her. She's smart as hell.... certainly can't be worse than what we have now. The current "administration" is just DISGUISTING.

Whomever is nominated it will be the same for either party. Unfortunately, only people who have lots of $$ and political pull can be president. Anyone who becomes president does it to serve him/herself and truly does little for the average American person. So, whether it's Hillary or John or Jane Doe, we will end up with someone who's only agenda is how to make their wallets thicker. Sad commentary of America in 2006 and beyond.

We've been living the republic nightmare way to long! I love them both but would rather see Kerry in there. Hillary is to blame for our screwed up medical system! Just as long as it's NOT another republican then I'll be happy.
