Hey, Father Chuck, you really are a pip, you know. How many altar boys have you had the pleasure of?

g. I would agree with you except Michael Moore does not generate advertising revenue as stated above. Also, he really does not hold any political sway. He is just a messenger that you can take or leave, Don't go see his movies... Get off the FOX before it turns you into a hateful racist bastard.

Oh yeah, the guy who got his panties twisted in a bunch after the election in San Francisco (SF voted against military recruiters on school campuses & instituted a ban on handguns).

Bill Oh Really's reaction? He said that al-Qaeda should blow up San Francisco (specifically Coit Tower which, ironically, has more tourists than natives) and leave the rest of the U.S. alone.

In other words, Bill Oh Really basically advocates violence against anyone who dares to disagree with him.

His function? To stir up his far right wing conservative base that considers him its media darling.

Hate as a positive thing? Doesn't make sense to me, either. My only guess is that his hate rhetoric excites those who hold hateful views.

Does Oh Really believe what he says? Goddess only knows.

Do I believe what he says? No, I think he's full of crap.

Personally, I'm not a fan, but he's a voice to many people. As far as hate goes, how does having a strong political opinion equate to hate. Please explain as I fail to understand.

If he is hateful, what does that make Michael Moore, Howard Dean, Al Franken? I think you more oppose what is the object of his disdain than what is the object of disdain for his more liberal but equally opinionated political opponents.

Having said that, here are my answers:
1) He's a political pundit; well educated although not particularly enlightened.
2) It's not. But you're confusing hatred with political conviction with which you apparently disagree. If you want to see hatred, take a look at Michael Savage or, again, Michael Moore.
3) Probably.
4) No more than I believe any political commentator. They are all pretty full of themselves.

His function is to promote "discussion" on Fox. Hate is not a positive thing, unless you're looking for ratings, in which case, it's the best thing. The only thing he believes in is his earnings. He stirs up the soup, saying whatever he thinks will spur the most outrage. Outrage increases his viewership, which increases his bankability. He probably doesn't even believe half the stuff he spits out.
I very rarely listen to what he has to say. I don't waste my time in that way.

his function is purely to draw conservative viewers to Fox News so they can reap the rewards of advertising dollars...

As to the rest... people that believe him or Michael Moore at all are most likely mildly retarded... and I'm sorry I had to break it to you... (for the most part, they both often use obvious things that anyone would agree with to draw you in like "child molesters are bad")

Okay this is Bill O'Reilly summed up, he's a huge pompus ***.
Basically he has his opinions on the world and the way it should work and enjoys share that with people to the extent that he must shove it straight down their throats.

Personally, I like him. He does have a lot of good things to say. Maybe you should actually listen to him once in a while.

He's a moron, on the republican payroll, but he does have a big mouth, capable of spewing lies faster than you can disprove them. Very effective republican propaganda to the ignorant masses.

And yes, you'd do best to just ignore him. Hell, he's not even worth my reply :-( .
