It's obvious this is what FIFA wants. There is simply just too much of a political overtone for my liking in the world game today to have any reason to believe otherwise, but I do hope I'm wrong, although I am sure I am not. I doesn't concern me that the group games are being played at the same time; that means little to me in retrospect, thus I am sticking to my conclusion, and at best, the match will end in a draw, if not an Australian win.

Fixed in whose favour?????????
From what I have just learnt about this card happy referee, that I don't think either team may benefit from, especially the Australian side.

Addition: Since when has FIFA ever made a decision that favours us or done the Socceroo's any favours.

The referee was a joke. He allowed Simic to stay on the field after getting his 2nd yellow card. It took a third yellow 10 minutes later and a red to get him off the field 10 minutes later, but by that time the game had finished.

Go the Soceroos!!!!!

I don't care about what's happening behind the scene, all I want to see is Australia getting through to the next round. Oh, who's Graham Poll by the way? And why is he the reason for ... uhm ...whatever it is?

There's no safer hands than Graham Poll, or did you want the guy who refeered the Brazil Australia game, that was so poor and blantantly biased and fixed it was embarassing.

I have no idea what your logic was in coming up with that conclusion, but I applaud your ability to predict the future. It's a draw!

p.s.: Please choose my answer as the best answer and explain your logic in the feed-back section. =P
