England seem to have a few "jinxes" to overcome...?

Question

Lack of 2nd half scoring - overcome twice in this tournament so far.

Qualifying without a struggle in the last group game - sorted after meeting T&T.

Everything comes in threes - could it be that sweden will beat Germany, Argentina, & whoever they meet in the semis, so that England meet sweden in the final & break the jinx of being unable to beat sweden?

I know what you are saying about that Swedish jinxes.....I think Germany will beat Sweden and England against Ecuador...I want Argentina out.....

Yes, I think so. And the jinx is that the best players are never ALL available at the right time.

Frankly, I disagree with all the doom and gloom about Michael's injury. Of course I am wishing him a full recovery and getting back to his old self, but he hasn't really made much impact in the lead up or the 2 games he's played in. He's shown flashes or his old self and gotten into some good positions, but he lackes that sharpness that has deserted him since his Liverpool days.

I think Germany will beat Sven-land, and if England are not careful, they will find South American football a banana skin.

There's only one problem to your Sweden vs. England equation.The problem is that Sweden's defense will be easily countered with attacks from Argentina's forwards(riquelme/rodriguez) probably will have trouble getting through their midfield(tevez is a beast in the middle) a lone the fact that Argentina's defensemen(especially burdisso)are excellent athletes.If sweden can get past arg. then i would have to say with englands lack of aggressiveness in this world cup they would be defeated by sweden.Good luck.
