She makes a whistling sound in her song "heartbreaker"

The above people probably named most of them so I won't. If you like this kind of singing, check out the 70s singer Minnie Riperton. She sings the same kind of stratospheric notes in the same style of music.(Ever heard the oldies song "Lovin You"? She has a lot of other just as great 70s R&B/pop songs). I also love these birdlike tones. I wonder if Mariah could break glass with these notes. To me shes the best singer out there.

Her voice is somewhat of a natural talent, some people just can't hit the notes she does, she supposedly can sing in more than the average octaves...which is quite a talent. However instead of placing insurance on her vocal chords, she placed them on her thunder thighs. Singing coaches won't help, you have to be capable of hitting notes like she does.

I don't know the names of specific songs, but I do know that she did alot of this in her earlier work. Albums include Mariah Carey (1990), Musicbox (1993) and Butterfly (1997).
