i think you mean kaveching...in the contexts i've seen it used in, it means finking on or improperly or inappropriately revealing, e.g. looking over the shoulder of a card-player and telling their opponent what cards they're holding

yiddish for "complaining." it's spelled "kvetching."

usually, the question asked is "why are you kvetching?" or simply "quit yer' kvetching."
