You don't use a humidifier for cigars. You use a humidifier to keep your house from becoming dry. You use a HUMIDOR for cigars.

I have put them in a zip lock baggie in the refrigerater with a wet folded paper towel in it, as long as the cigar's are wrapped individually, and they were alway's fresh....

Put them in the refrigerator. It keeps tobacco fresh as with just about anything else.
