Saying the Arts, may have been a little confusing. How about if I said the 'Art?'

In the Sanskrit and Vedic lore, the universe is described as manifesting as vibrations arising from the absolute. This is a close corollary to quantum physics' quest fro a unified field theory, and hearkens to string theory. Other mythos of creation liken the universe to being played into existence on the strings of an ethereal harp. The songs of the spheres also come to mind. Sounds are physical phenomena described in physics. A song is a set of sounds which have both tangible and intangible values and effects, that is to say both measurable and immeasurable. Mathematics is a language, and a song is representable as a mathematical discourse, and vice versa. I personally resonate to the idea that the universe is "played" into existence on the "harp unstrung." As perceptions are not limited to what the mind takes from the eyes, ears, and other sensory organs but also include the intangibles of imagination, thus experiencing "art" like form or function can be seen as a further extension of imagination and thought and this is where the answer to your question resides -- in mysteries playing out there as far as we can imagine to endeavor to perceive.

I have always studied the Social Sciences, but I find Quantum Physics fascinating, I guess I just dont have the brain hookup to understand most of it, so I am not sure if it would help in the Art, but the little I do know, it seems it would. But it is very cool.

Watch the Science Channel for a special called Parallel Universes, utilizing String Theory they claim to have discovered 11 dimensions, worth the watch.

I think that Quantum physics in addition to String and M theories help me to understand the spiritual side of my life more. And it helps me to confirm my spiritual beliefs which lean toward New thought, and maybe even the ideas in the Celestine Prophecy book.

Quantum mechanics/Physics may help us to understand the mechanical aspects of the physical manifestaion of any human expression, but to be in a position to understand the spiritual nature of human expression, I feel we must relinguish the egotistical nature that would have us believe, our primary purpose in this lifetime ( if its even possible ) is to understand the mechanics of this sphere of existence using human intellect.

Peace,
