I have the video Ipod and have never had any problem with it. Now when I plug it in to charge and update the song list my computer isn't recognizeing the connection. I've downloaded the latest Itunes and restarted my computer. Any idea what's up, it won't even recharge the battery, which is the only way to charge the new model.

Maybe.... try resetting it? Hold down the Menu button and the center button at the same time for 4-5 seconds.

maybe the usp port has gobe bad!!
It HAS to be a HIGH SPEED usp port... plus
I have the latest IPOD VIDEO and you can buy wall chargers at Walmart , Target etc
