Sean Connery played 007 in 1967's "You Only Live Twice."
Connery was in the royal Navy, so I'll guess he could have gone sailing. He earned $1 million for this movie. Interestingly, the screenplay for that movie was written by Roald Dahl, the famous children's author (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, etc.).

the obvious answer would be Sean Connery, in "You only Live Twice", but also in 1967, Peter Sellers starred in Casino Royale that same year.
So, I'm gonna say David Niven.
