4 possibilities:

For web pages, click View/text size and choose a larger size.

For all computer, go to ControlPanel/Appearence&Themes
/Display/Settings/Advanced/DPI Setting

... or /Display/Appearance/Font Size

You also get smaller characters if you changed the screen resolution - higher resolution equals smaller characters. Go to /Display/Settings/ScreenResolution and chose smaller resolution.

Try this: Click "Start"
Click "MY COMPUTER"
Click "CONTROL PANEL" then "APPEARANCE & THEMES" then "DISPLAY"

Then under CONTROL PANEL ICON, click “DISPLAY”
Then the tab "SETTINGS"

Adjust "SCREEN RESOLUTION" to a different setting. If you don't like that, try another setting until you get the size you want.
