I waited until I could afford a computer and the monthly charge...it was in 1995 or 1996....about 10 years.

I bought my computer last year in the month of September 2005. Then I got one internet connection also. Since then I am using it. I did not go to cafe to use internet. I started it from my home itself. No, I did not wait until it was offered unlimited. I hv the plan of one gb download with me during a month and this is more than enough for me. I am completely satisfied with my internet connection.

I have only been using the internet for a little over a year. If I had to pay by the hour, then I wouldn't be able to stay online very long!

It's been ten years for me. I lived in the middle of nowhere so had to wait until 'net service came to my area.

3 years. And (like my microwave, which I said for years I didn't need, until somebody gave me one and I was hooked in a week) I wouldn't go back. BTW, my 74 year old mom bought me my first computer, bless her soul.
