Hey William J., stop demanding someone else do the work for you, and do your own research instead of just spouting out the New American Communist Party line. It took me about 5 minutes to find not one, but MULTIPLE lists from the New York Times, The New York Sun, and others, as well as contact some friends who are in the know to be able to give you this information.

Why hasn't Bush told us this 'fact'? I'd think you guys would have been all over that one. Or are the republicans taking it easy on rushing to accept 'facts' AGAIN from an unreliable source? And by the way, I answered your question about what makes Ann Coulter offensive. So, will you apologize, now that someone has given you an exact example from her book? Probably not.
Hello? Indianadude? Where are you? Normally you'd be coming back at us! Did we finally send you packing? Hello? Oh, you're probably out searching for more of those weapons...
OMG!!!! I really hope you are still watching your beloved republicans, as they ADMIT that those weren't the WMD, as they scramble to prevent the media reports of financial spying on U.S. citizens, and eat their own crow yesterday in the supreme court ruling that a Bush backed railroad company illegally retaliated against a woman who reported sexual descrimination. NOT a good week for the republicans! so...ARE YOU GOING TO APOLOGIZE? I see you removed your contact information, you'll probably just delete this question. I would if I were you!

"The lawmakers pointed to an unclassified summary from a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center regarding 500 chemical munitions shells that had been buried near the Iranian border, and then long forgotten, by Iraqi troops during their eight-year war with Iran, which ended in 1988.
The U.S. military announced in 2004 in Iraq that several crates of the old shells had been uncovered and that they contained a blister agent that was no longer active. Neither the military nor the White House nor the CIA considered the shells to be evidence of what was alleged by the Bush administration to be a current Iraqi program to make chemical, biological and nuclear weapons.
Last night, intelligence officials reaffirmed that the shells were old and were not the suspected weapons of mass destruction sought in Iraq after the 2003 invasion."
Nice try --

Sure they found some stuff, after all Iraq is a big country...that being said and link provided below, this wasn't what we were told was there. There weren't the massive amts. of chemical and biological weapons actively being made and given out to terrorists as was clearly stated...and, note that our own CIA says that no WMDs were found. So it is whatever you want to apply. I don't here GWB telling everyone "I told you so" which he most certainly owuld do if what was found was what he told us all was there. So, in short: yes...and no.

Other than Fox News, there is this article from the Washington Post that relates to this topic. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/21/AR2006062101837.html?nav=rss_world/mideast/iraq
The info was just declassified saying that they found 500 chemical weapons, but were not the ones that the administration thought them to be.

seems like this info should have been released long ago. But, remember - and with apologies to Erich Segal - being a Dem means never having to say you're sorry. lol
