Miami is pretty great, as I stated a few questions ago....(link is below).
But, only two teams can boast four straight seasons with top ten finishes: The Trojans and The Dawgs. And with the fair claim to two National Championships since 2000 (and played for a third), I think that USC has the claim to the title of "Greatest Since 2000".
Sorry, Miami has fallen off the past few years. They are still great, but will need to return to the form they showed in 2000-2002 (those three years, they were the greatest) to be "the greatest no doubt."

only 5 national titles last i checked the buckeyes have six. No team outside of the Big Ten or Big 12 will ever be the greatest, the reason more teams aren't in national title games from there is the league is so tough its almost impossible to go undefeated. Even as an Ohio State fan i recognize that Michigan is one of the best of all time as well, The ACC is a joke so is The east they don't have any of the teams and history as alot of the other leagues.

I-O!! Go Bucks Nat'l Champs 2002 beat your canes. Since then Miami hasn't really been a threat for a national championship. Their recruiting isn't great anymore either. Oklahoma may be the best all time.

Go Canes!!! I think at one time they were the best college football team going. We have severely lacked any sort of running game and passing game in recent years. We need to get back to the days of Edgerin James and Willis McGahee when we would run the ball at opposing teams. And we need to get a quarterback, dare I say it, like Ken Dorsey back in the pocket.
If we are to be successful and knock off FSU and other teams like VT then we need Larry Coker to get back to the way things were. We had some successful runs in the early 2000's now is the time to move forward and restore some pride in UM's football program.

The players at Miami are getting paid 'incentives', I heard the guy talking about it on Stern the other day.
