I'm always very conscious of how I look, but as far as applying make-up and doing my hair, I usually don't think too much about it, if I'm simply going to Wal-Mart. I am however, always clean and my hair is neat, but as a rule, I wear very little make-up, ever. I do tend to wear comfie clothes, but don't think that I look like a frump when I'm out and about, lol. Even then, I still won't spend a great amount of time, "putting my face on".
I've always been someone that cares about how she looks, but I honestly don't see much point in spending lots of time "primping" in the bathroom, just to run a few errands. If I'm going out for the night, or for a special event, then it's a whole different story!
There have been a few times though, when I have been out running an errand, and when I didn't look all that great, and ran into someone that I knew. YIKES!! That's always a bit embarrassing, but hey, that's life. I want to believe that it's not all about how we look anyway, but who we are. Hope I'm right. :)

Depends where I'm goin...When I leave for the office every morning I take great care to look well pressed, neat, clean shaven and hair all in place. Very important that I present the right image at work.
For weekends I never shave, will throw on a baseball cap if my hair doesn't look right and honestly don't care....I'm not trying to impress anybody then.
Of course I will make myself all "pretty" if I'm going out with my wife that night....

the truth is you alway's have to look good and smell good too. hair in place. no dirty clothes on. need to apply perfume. accessorize, put on shadow, lip gloss, and make sure you got ur money. you never know if u might bump into a celeb and they like ur clothes or perfume. maybe an old friend will see you and compliment. maybe that cute stranger u seem to see every where u go, will say lookin good or ask you out. doesn't matter where you go just look good, smell good, and feel good. oh, also alwy's be urself. have ur great attitude with you.

I've gotten much better about it since my arm has been in a cast for a very long time. However it's a guarantee that, if I go out looking like crap, I'll run into someone I know, or want to know. If I'm looking great - the stores and streets are deserted!

out the door and comfort, comfort, comfort is on the agenda. granted, it's different for guys, but i've always been someone comfortable enough with myself to just get up and go when the need arises. jeans or shorts, a shirt, jacket if needed... see-ya. i DO know some people who take 3 hours to prepare for a 15 minute errand... but hey, to each their own. i'm already back by then anyway.

The older I get, the less I worry about those things...I mean I look presentable, but I'm not going to worry with make up and everything to go out and get cigarettes..but I remember when I was younger I had to look good just to go to McDonalds

I haven't the time to get all dolled up just to go to the grocery. I try not to look too frumpy but nice clothes and make-up are for going out or work. As long as you put on some deodorant and brush your teeth, you're good to go!

Really, I don't give a hoot about what others think, so I go out in exactly what I want to. Normally sweats or something to that extent. Just totally comfy !!! I Figure I look good so they can just deal with it if they don't like it.
