It doesn't matter if anybody stands by Israel, they would stomp the Arabs with or without world support. (But I do stand by Israel).

Actually mr bob the tomato, the Israeli nation was not a country before. It was taken from the Palestinian land and the Libyans, for those who was evading Prosecution from NAZI Germany. It was not a country untill 1948. The citizens of what now is Israel mostly are Arabs, until world war two when the Jewish people were being hunted down by the NAZIs. SInce then the state of Israel was growing population with the number of Jewish citizen and later become The Country of Israel by force because the Divided region was not divided equaly amongst Arabs and Jews.

Israel, it is one of the few U.S. allies located in the middle east. It is also one of the most militarily developed countries in the world. Since it is an ally of the U.S. and other western countries it can rely on their support against countries that the west has developed a type of "phobia" towards. Of course this depends on which individual country would attack Israel, and whether or not this country has enough clout to prevent the U.N. from siding with Israel. This is of very little consequence as Israel has proved itself fully capable from defending itself from multiple countries at once through the use of it's very advanced air force.
To remove the U.N. from a war involving Israel is difficult since the inception of the Zionist state was the brain child British Foreign Secretary Arthur J. Balfour

Well, if it were my case, I would say neither. I'm a Rep, and I hate to say this, but we really could learn something from Russia when it comes to politics from the middle east. They are in a political position where they can sell weapons and technology to Iran, and launch a satellite for Israel without making either angry. That's where we should be, and though I certainly respect and admire Israel, their right to exist, and and fortitude in the face of adversity, supporting and backing them for the last 50 years hasn't helped the middle East's opinion of the US, and has certainly helped feed the animosity they have for us. I support the US, we should worry more about us, and a whole lot less about the position of the rest of the world..... unless they're threatening us, of course.

i'm sick of all these questions and worries and fears and debate about the thirld world hell-hole that is the middle east. While the rest of the world is too busy commentating on the situation and profiting off of both sides, the Israelis are building walls to keep out any Palestinians while those same Palestinians concoct even more ways to blow themselves up. That war ur talking about has been going on for the last 5o years and noone can win, while regular people who want regular lives on both sides of the aisle continue to suffer.

I stand by neither, I stand by America, I do not fully understand their cause therefore I cannot pass judgement. They both make their points but who are we to say who is right or to whom side we support? We as those who are not involved have no right to choose sides.

Israel. Why? Because it's their land in the first place. Everyone else is just "squatting" on the property.
