I know a couple of people who are very sensitive to AC and it makes them sick. Use fan to bring cool air in at night and every few hours wet your hand and wet part of body with it and keep doing it till whole body is wet. Then as it drys in the air it will cool you down.
Good luck! Also try eating more raw fruit and vegetables and less cooked foods. Also sunbathing greatly helps you to not feel hot in heat since it sweats out a lot of toxins.
Today is longest, brightest day in Northern Hemisphere. I sunbathed 2 hours at noon, today. It got up to 90 in my apartment and I was not hot at all. But I turned on my AC since I did not want my computer to get too hot

Its your hormone levels changing. Try a cool wet cloth on your forhead and another on your chest. Sit under a fan or A/C till you cool down then remove the cloths and wait another 5-10 minutes before any activity. Hope this helps.

Your hormones are out of whack and your husband doesnt understand cuz he's a man and men have it easy. Go to the doc and get some hormones. Also, buy a small fan and place it on your night stand so it can blow on your face at night and it wont bother your grumpy husband. Good luck girl..

You are going through some very severe hormonal changes. My only suggestion would be go to the doctors and maybe get some hormones like going on the Pill. It should curtail those hot flashes for awhile. Waring: as soon as you hit menopause, its like that for at least ten years! Its horrible!!!!

I keep a fan near the bed and focus the air on me to help cool me down.
Also, you can try some of those neck bands with gel in them that you freeze, and wear it when going to bed, or stick it in your pillow case.
Try to drink more water, especially cold water. It will cool you down and give you the resources to sweat, which will help with the cooling.

Eat a healthier diet. Look into natural medicine. It might take longer to take effect than chemical medincine but in the long run it will be worth a try.

Speak to your doctor. There may be a problem with your hormones.
This is not something wisely ignored. Some cancers are linked to sex hormones. If these levels are wrong, your could leave yourself susceptible to cancer. SEE YOUR DOCTOR!

It took several months after i had my kids for my hormones to get back to normal. i was sweating so bad with my first son i had to change shirts several times a day, it was gross. with my second son, i didn't sweat bad, it was just real stinky. it just takes the body time to relax i guess. good luck.
